Saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. She and my mother Mary Jane Landis were lifelong friends. I want all her family to know how important she and Bob were to our family. Girls - may your love for your parents be remembered every day and you share your memories with your children and theirs.

To Vicki, Kathy, Kim, Nancy, Beth and Jan
Imagine what your Mother would say if she could be with you today.
Imagine the soft look in her eyes and the wisdom and caring in her voice.
Imagine her giving you the kind of hug only she could give, and let that warmth wrap around you. There she is, and there she'll always be, reminding you how strong, how important, how very loved you are.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Detrea

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom . She was a sweet, beautiful lady. I spent a lot of time as a child at her house since Jan was one of my best friends. She was always so nice and made me feel welcome. I saw her off and on over the years and she was always the same sweet lady. May God give you all peace and comfort during this time.

I did not have the privilege of knowing Shirley's family, but I was a classmate. We did have a few Friday luncheon's at Homer's(a while back).Mercedis Bloom-Fenton started with another classmate having whoever could make it get together on Fridays and hirley did come a few times. Then I was at Blair Ridge just before coming to Florida andgot to see her and had a nice little visit. So sorry to learn of her passing and you have my deepest sympathy and blessings. Oh so many years ago I used to live down the street from your family on E 6th. Kathy and I were really good friends, and I was always at your house where your dear mother was such a joy to any of us kids that visited. I remember her letting us have sleepovers - backyard picnics - birthday parties and just whatever else she thought would give us pleasantries in our lives. She was a doll. I'm that little Mary Sears from down the street, Kathy, and I'm am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I pray that God eases all of your pains now and your mother can be at peace. My sincere condolences. Mary C Sears Indianapolis, IN
