Charles E. Jarnigan, 71, of Peru, IN, passed away at his home on July 15, 2023. He was born on September 11, 1951, in Nettleton, MS, to the late Cornelius Jarnigan and Alberta Mae (Walton) Wilson. He also had many joys in life, including gardening and tending to his roses, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and traveling especially to the beach and mountains. Charles was also an avid reader with a contagious laugh and smile that spread wherever he traveled. His greatest joy in life was being a loving and caring father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle to his family, who will all miss him very much.
Charles’ children will always cherish the life lessons he taught them and how he supported them all throughout the many accomplishments and difficulties of their lives.
