Carl Grimmett Obituary

Carl B. Grimmett, 78, of Peru passed away at 4:40 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital.

Born on February 25, 1941 in Webb, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Roy and Ida (Spaulding) Grimmett.

Carl was a proud U.S. Navy veteran where he served aboard the U.S.S. Gearing.

He retired as a maintenance supervisor at Chrysler after 40 years.

Survivors include his son, Carl Joseph “Joey” Grimmett of Peru, daughter, Yvonne M. Hilgeman (Blake) of Walton, brother, Ivan J. Grimmett (Heather) of Canada, daughter in law, Lori Grimmett of Williamsport, grandchildren, Greg Grimmett (Heather) of Williamsport, Stacey Wilson (Kris) of Attica, Amanda Lee (Justin) of Lafayette, Daniel Hilgeman (Walton) and Alyia Clem (Jordan) of Peru. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Yvonne Grimmett and his son, James “Jim” Roy Grimmett.

Services will be private.
