Rosemary J. Shanks

Rosemary J. Johnson, Shanks, born June 7, 1934 to, Birdie and Nellie Newell. Passed July 16, 2023. Mother of four children, Monty K. Johnson, deceased: Collier L. Johnson, Peru, Indiana: Michelle J. Black, Peru, Indiana; and Michael D. Johnson, Nokomis, Florida. She had seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rosemary had a great life, which included singing with several jazz bands professionally, and selling cars for many years. She loved Peru, Indiana, and which she worked many years for the Circus Hall of Fame. She will be loved and missed by many. Services will be in private for immediate family.
