Rene Warner Jr.

Rene Warner Jr, 66, of Peru, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Rene was born on June 17, 1958, to the late Rene Warner Sr., and Naomi (Wichert) Warner, in Michigan.

Rene graduated from Maconaquah High School. Rene attended Indiana University and quickly began his career as a registered nurse. Eventually Rene retired from nursing and went to work at Wabash National, where he dedicated over 20 years of service as a welding coordinator.

After retiring, Rene enjoyed fishing, gardening, tending to his koi pond, and spending time with his beloved dog; Ralph. Rene was dedicated to serving, volunteering, and attending his church at Chapel Ministries Outreach.

Rene is survived by his children; Bridget (Warner) Mccormick, Adam (Jasmyne) Warner, Sabrina (Leroy) Manriquez, sisters; Rhonda Warner, Regina (Bruce) Duncan, and many grandchildren.

A funeral Service honoring the life of Rene will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Chapel Ministries Outreach, located at 6910 N. 1050 E., Denver, IN, at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Rene’s honor to Chapel Ministries Outreach Church.
