Larry Kinzie

 Larry Paul Kinzie, 73, of Peru, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Blair Ridge Health Campus in Peru. Larry was born to the late Gareth A. Kinzie and Rosa (Bronder) Kinzie, on March 25, 1952, in Peru. 

 On June 1, 1974, Larry married the love of his life Colleen Sue Bevington and she survives. 

 Larry graduated from Peru High School in 1970 and quickly began working at Schneider electric in Peru. Larry had worked at Square D for over 42 years where he made many friends along the way. 

 In his free time Larry enjoyed everything sports. His favorite team was Notre Dame. He enjoyed watching his children play softball and baseball. Larry was blessed to spend many years watching basketball at North Miami, Tri State, and Trine University. He loved helping coach baseball and basketball. His favorite hobby most of all was mowing and keeping his yard in immaculate shape, and also getting it stuck. 

 Surviving Larry include is loving wife; Colleen Kinzie, children; Amber (Josh) Kinzie Whited, Ryan (Heather) Kinzie, sister; Rebecca (John) Hight, grandchildren; Kenneth Eli Whited, Silver Kinzie, nieces; Rachel (Troy) Guyer, Amber Sharp (Chris), Natasha Worthington (Fred), nephews; Shawn Williams (Jenel), Scott Williams (Tara), Brian Sharp. 

 A funeral service honoring the life of Larry will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 6 pm, located at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 West Canal Street, Peru, with Pastor Eric McCoy officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4 pm until the time of the service. A private family burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, at a later date.
