Jeffry G. Steele, 61, of Peru, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Friday, August 11, 2017. Jeffry was born on March 1, 1956 in Peru to the late Willis and Betty Lou (Whitney) Steele.
He graduated from Peru High School in 1974. Jeffry went to work in 1975 as the Plant Operator at Peru Utilities Waste Water Plant where he retired after 39 years of service.
He is survived by a Daughter, Melynda Kay (Danny) Gower, Peru; Sons, Jeffry Garrett (Taylor Koerner) Steele Jr., Michigan and Jeremy Stevenson (Carrie) Steele, Peru; Grandchildren, Zakary Joseph Steele, Jake Xavier Steele, Tristen Johnathon MInns, Isabelle Ashleigh Minns, Lillynn Rose Steele, Pheobe Nicole Steele and Baby Girl Steele; Brothers, Steve (Janie) Steele, Peru, Bud Steele, Peru, Mike (Michelle) Steele, Peru; Sisters, Tyla (Ronnie Sykes) Steele, Peru, Terri (Gary) Egan, Michigan, Trisha (Jim) Pattison, Peru, Traci Steele, Peru, Toni Garner, Peru, Trina (Bob) Grant, Peru and Toma (Ken) Piotrowski, Wisconsin. 27 Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, a sister, Tammie Lou Steele, sister-in-law, Cheryle (Moyer) Steele and brother-in-law, Steve Garner.
