Heather M. Thompson

Heather M. Thompson, 54 of Peru passed away at 12:49 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 2, 1971, in Muscatine, Iowa, she was the daughter of James and Deborah (Larimer) Koepping.

She was formerly employed at Heritage Healthcare Center in West Lafayette.

Survivors include her children, Kayla Truax (Heather), Thomas Thompson, Jr. and Kyle Thompson, sister, Gretchen Koepping, grandchildren, Jaxson Thompson, Sage Burleson, Annika Truax and Isabella Thompson and her parents, James and Deborah Koepping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Thompson.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
