Danny Brian Smith

Danny Brian Smith, 66, of Peru, passed away on March 2, 2026 at his residence. Born on June 12, 1959 in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of the late Howard and Mildred Smith.

He was a graduate of Peru High School. Worked many years running a saw for W.C. Redmon Company. He married the love of his Mary Geo (Hall) in June 1983. Danny enjoyed legos, raising goldfish and had talent in drawing.

Survivors include his brother; Michael, sisters; Mary Lou Gladwell, Susan Helton and Kathi Leonhardt, sister-in-law; Elsie Smith.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Geo Smith, brothers; Stephen and Howard “Butch” Smith, sisters; Barbara Adams, Edna Roberts and Tammy Smith, Sister-in-law; Lana Smith.
