Corey Patrick Boettjer

Corey Patrick Boettjer, 46 of Hamilton Ohio, passed away on February 25, 2026, at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1979 in Peru, Indiana. His parents are Glen Dallas (G. D.) Boettjer and the late Patricia Hunkler. Corey attended Lakota High School in Liberty Twp, Ohio. He did carpentry and construction work in and around the surrounding Cincinnati area. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He attended West Chester Nazarene Church.

Corey is survived by his father, G. D. Boettjer of Peru, Indiana; daughter, Abigail Boettjer of Lebanon, Ohio; sisters, Anje Boettjer (Nichole Roman) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Bridgette Boettjer (Lena) of Hamilton, Ohio; nieces, Greta and Sydney Boettjer; nephew, Levi Boettjer along with several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Hunkler and Stepfather, Ted Hunkler.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life and dinner to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Event Center.
