Arleita Sue Conger

Arleita Sue Conger, lovingly known as Sue, 83 of Nyona Lake passed away on May 11,2026 at home.

Born on March 30, 1943 in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Chester andElsie (Vore) Landis. Sue built a life centered on love, family and friendship. She married the love of her life, Willard Henry Conger on February 14, 1960, and together they shared many wonderful years and memories.

Sue is survived by her children, Henry Conger (Debra) of Peru and Terri Lawson (Duel)of Akron, grandchildren, Boog Conger (Becky), Duely Lawson (Kristina), Sheena Burns(Jonathan), Mattie Mathias (Eric) and great grandchildren, Jade and Krysta Conger,Hunter, Autumn, Logan, Hilary and Dezmond Lawson, Hannah, Izzy and Coltien Kirisits, Rori and Lilah Burns, Maverick Malott, Jordan Simon, Aaliyah (Will), Alivia, Logan and Levi Mathias and great great grandson, Lukah.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry, son, Jim Conger, sister,Linda Allman, brother, Bud Landis, and sister in law Ingrid Landis.

Sue’s greatest happiness came from being a mom and grandma. She loved spending time with her family, whether sharing stories, laughter or simply being together. She also enjoyed golfing with friends, cheering on the Cubs and spoiling her beloved dog, Lucy who she affectionately called her cat.

Sue will be remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor and the loved she gave so freely to those around her. Please join us in celebrating the lives of Sue and Henry Conger and the beautiful memories they leave behind on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru. Visitation will be one hour prior to the celebration.
