André P. Mcmillen

André “Andy” Pierre McMillen, 52, of Peru passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru. Born on December 9, 1970, in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of George Thomas McMillen and Henriette (Cosquer) West. Andy was a graduate of Wabash High School and after completing his education, he worked for much of his life as a butcher, managing the meat departments for Marsh and later Meijer.

Andy also had many joys in life, he was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing and being out in nature. However, his greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family and close friends who will all miss him very much.

Survivors include his wife, Alyson Jo West-McMillen; son, André Thomas (Courtney) McMillen; daughters, Karlie Anne McMillen, and Emily Jo (Andrew Doran) West; mother, Henriette West; brother, Jonathan (Beth) McMillen; nephew, John McMillen; niece, Lizzy (Jared) Heatley; sister, Lida (David) Han; as well as 3 grandchildren, Tristan, Ryley, and Jackson

He was preceded in death by his father, George Thomas McMillen; and a brother, Max McMillen.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru. IN:

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
