Aaron Lewis, 82, of Peru passed away peacefully at 11:25 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born on June 16, 1938 in Farler, Kentucky, he was son of the late Hagard and Pearlie Lewis.

On September 19, 1975 he married Connie S. Chaffin-Lindsey, she survives.

Aaron retired from Wabash Alloys in Wabash.  He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ and Aaron enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening, watching ballgames, gospel and country music, playing card games, horse races especially the Kentucky Derby but most of all his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Lewis of Peru, his children, Katherine Lindsey of South Bend, Carol Hess (William) of Four Acre, Gary Lindsey of Peru, Sandra Forrey (Scott) of Casey, Illinois and Karen Blackwell (Lane) of Peru.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren.

He is also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St., Peru.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent Hospice, 311 S. Berkley Dr., Kokomo, 46901.
