Kenneth Blohm

Kenneth “Ken” Eugene Blohm, 70, of Peru, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Dukes Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1948 in Logansport to his mother; Margaret Blohm and his late father Leland Blohm. He was married to Kim Blohm of Peru on December 12, 2002 and she survives.

Ken retired from Millers Merry Manor on Dec. 31, 2017. After his retirement, Ken decided it was time to expand his horizons farther. In April 2017 Ken became an over the road driver for Professional Transportation Inc. which he transported railroaders to their various destinations. Ken was a dedicated man and always was there to help anyone. He passed doing what he loved to do, and that’s working. In Ken’s free time he loved going to casinos and loved his scratch off tickets and of course Nascar and his driver, Jeff Gordon

Surviving Ken is his wife; Kim Blohm, his mother; Margaret Blohm, his daughters; Cheryl Rood of Jerome, ID and Jennifer Emerson of Troy, OH, his son; Richard Johnson of Sulsue, CA, step-son; Randy Childers of Peru, IN, his step-daughter; Ashley Childers of Peru, IN. Ken has 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, his infant daughter, Sandra, his infant grandson, Joshua and his best friend Mark Benson.

Visitation for Ken will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 2-4pm at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St. Peru, IN 46970.
