George Thomas McMillen

George Thomas McMillen, 85, of Peru, passed away on May 26, 2018 at Blair Ridge Health Campus. He was born on April 11, 1933 in Vincennes, IN. to the late William and Lida (Wright) McMillen. He was a 1951 graduate of Vincennes High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1972.

He is survived by three children, John (Beth) McMillen, Peru; Lida (David) Han, Peru; Andy McMillen, Peru; grandchildren, John Michael (Katie) McMillen, Andre (Courtney) McMillen, Elisabeth (Jared) Heatley and Karlie McMillen and one great-grandchild, Tristan McMillen; one brother, Pat McMillen He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters, children, George McMillen, Margaritte McMillen and Fritz McMillen and his wife, Connie (Leonhard) McMillen.

Funeral services will be held on Weds. May 30, 2018 at 1pm with Charlie Dye officiating at Riverview Funeral Home, 421 W. Canal St. in Peru. Visitation will take place from 11am until the time of service. Burial will take place in Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash with Military Honor Guard.
