Mary M Spencer

Mary Spencer, 86, of Peru, went home to the Lord on April 1, 2018. She was loved by her family and friends. Born on Dec. 20, 1931 in Crystal Falls, Mich. to Herbert and Mittie Spencer.

 She is survived by her daughter Charlene Beattie and a son, Larry Rigle; grandchildren, Wende (Ralph) Sheets, Tommie (Lori) Beattie, Larry Rigle Jr., Jason Rigle, Curtis Reed and Dustin Hall; great grandchildren, Shelbee Sheridan, Tayler St. Claire, Karsynn and Bailee Beattie; great great grandchildren, Aydenn Townsend, Zaiden Manning, Alex Taylor, Zoiee and Delyla St. Claire and one brother, Herman Spencer.  One special niece, Bonnie Stapleton.

Preceding her in death were 3 children, five sisters, Nancy Stapleton, Edna Culver, Elma Stapleton, Eva Stapleton and Lorraine Fater; two brothers, Thaddius Spencer and Clayton Spencer and two grandchildren, Tammy and Fredrick Rigle.

 Mary worked all of her life as a waitress at multiple restaurants including, Howard Johnson, Patio, Redcoach and Paramont Bar and Grill, as well as being a caregiver for the elderly. She attended The Assembly of God Church in Peru. She lived many years at Eastwood and the last two and a half years with her daughter Charlene and Barney the Dog.
