Barbara J Lemon

Barbara J. Lemon, 85, of Peru, peacefully passed away on September 12, 2017. Barbara was the daughter of Charles and Addie Whitehead and she later married Elmer Lemon on September 3, 1950. Together they had three children. Barbara was a devote Christian, strong in her faith! She loved to travel, but her favorite was the family time spent at the cabin her parents built in da U.P., where she had many family friends. At her home at Blair Ridge, she was surrounded by friends that she loved and enjoyed spending time with.

                Barbara is survived by her son, Matt, his wife Anita, and their children, Monique, her husband Al and their children, Cole, Kylie and Gage. Arianne, her husband Larry, and their children Michaela and Christian. Shane Gehring, his wife Angela, and their children Allison and Luke. Her son-in-law Paul Florence, and his wife Ann, their children Jared his wife Cindy, and their children Aly and Sam. Lathan, his wife Cathy, and their children Savannah and Victoria. Her daughter, Sara Sharp, her husband Dick and their daughter, Megan and her husband Austin, and their children Shelby, Hayleigh and Khloe. Ray and Mary Courtney and beloved friends Betsy Guthrie and Jean Higgins.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Peggy, her daughter Victoria Florence and her grandson Mitchel Sharp.

                There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00am in the lower level at Blair Ridge Health Campus.
